| Patrick
began his undergraduate education at the University of Oklahoma
where he studied theatrical arts. Mr. Brown earned his Bachelor
of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in
Dallas, Texas. His educational pursuit of photography began at Brooks
Institute of Photographic Art and Science in Santa Barbara, California,
and continued at LÕEcole International de Photographie in Arles,
France. |

In May 1999 Patrick received his M.F.A. in photography from the
San Francisco Art Institute. He has supported the arts community
throughout California when he served as secretary and co-chair for
the Arts Commission of Pacific Grove. Patrick is a member of MOMA, Aperture, LACMA and the SFMuseum of Modern Art. Patrick has taught at San Francisco
State University and until recently he was a Visiting Artist/Professor
of Photography at the San Francisco Art Institute. |

| Patrick's
work has been exhibited in various one-man and group shows throughout
the United States and at gallery shows in New York City, Chicago,
Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Carmel, California. He has
also exhibited his photography work entitled "Survivors Not
Victims" at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, University
of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma as well as the Monterey Museum of
Art, Monterey, California. His photographs are collected in the
United States, Europe and Australia. Polo Ralph Lauren has been one of his most consistent clients along with world-renowned Belgian art collector Stephane Janssen. |
| He
worked with the Weston Gallery in Carmel, California, and became
a docent at the Friends of Photography Gallery when they were located
in Carmel, California. He has taught darkroom technique to several
groups and individuals most notably, the curator of the ICAC/Weston
Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. While at SFAI he studied with Ann Chamberlain, Linda
Connor, Stephanie Ellis, Lukas Felzman, Jack Fulton, Young Kim,
Reagan Louie and Hank Wessel. The knowledge they shared impacts both his professional and personal life. |
| His
thesis work entitled Unnamed, was originally shown as part
of San Francisco Art InstituteÕs M.F.A. annual graduate exhibition
at Fort Mason. The work was exhibited at MummÕs Vineyard in Napa
Valley from September 1999 until January 2000 as part of the group
show entitled, Visions of Excellence 1999.This body of work was
exhibited in Polaroid's ISIT Photography Competition. Additionally
Unnamed was shown in his one-person exhibition in New York
City in 2001. SInce that time Polo Ralph Lauren has collected and displayed Patrick's work all over the world, from Beverly Hills to Moscow. |
| In his most
recent work Cintos represents a bold new direction in his
unique approach to the fine arts photographic medium; meshing emulsion
based imagery with digital photography. |

In summer of 2005 Patrick began splitting his time between Northern and Southern California. One year prior Patrick began working on a documentary film dealing with adults who were sexually abused during childhood and how states' statutes of limitations prevent the protection of children. |
